One-on-One Personal Training
A 45 minute training session, customized to fit each individuals need. This dedicated session will focus on all aspects of training which include Self -Myofascial Release, Flexibility, Stability, Balance, Strength, Power, and Cardio respiratory training under the direction of our Nationally Certified Trainers.
Semi-Private Training
Have fun with a partner! Semi- Privates are a great way to get results and motivate each other by training with one or two other individuals under the direction of our Nationally Certified Trainers.
Nutrition Counseling
Exercise is not always enough! If you need help with weight loss, high blood pressure or cholesterol or just want to look & feel better, see one of our nutrition counselors. Our staff is available to guide you on ways to meet your nutritional needs and health goals. We offer education and counseling about healthy eating, preventive nutrition and lifestyle choices. Sports Performance Training
Achieve the highest in sports performance enhancement with our studio’s approach to athlete preparation. Our highly qualified staff ensures success through the highest quality equipment and programs. Our training programs also offer education in performance training. If you need to increase your endurance, speed, agility, power or body control when it comes to sports performance, our performance training is for you.
Kettlebell Training
Here at The Training Studio, our instructors are fully qualified to safely and effectively challenge our clients with the infinite possibilities and benefits of working with Russian Kettlebells. Mike Hanley and Juliet Deane studied personally under Pavel Tsatsouline and earned their Russian Kettlebell Certification under his instruction. Since then they both have attended Kettlebell seminars and workshops focusing on using Kettlebells for flexibility, stability, all variations of strength and conditioning. This continued education ensures that The Training Studio clients will continue to reap all the benefits that Kettlebells have to offer.
Flexibility
Flexibility is the ability to move a joint smoothly through its complete range of motion. There are two main types: static flexibility is the ability to move slowly into a stretched position and to hold the body still (e.g. the ability to sit in a splits position); dynamic flexibility is the ability to move quickly or at normal speed into a stretched position (e.g. a gymnast performing a split leap).
Flexibility is one of the main components of physical fitness and is believed to be important for optimum health. Flexibility exercises have been prescribed for the relief of menstrual disorders, general neuromuscular tension, and low back pain. A certain amount of flexibility is needed for body movement; conversely, lack of flexibility restricts movement.
At The Training Studio, we provide the ability to achieve a full range of movements-to turn, stretch, twist and bend-without any stiffness, aching or suffering a spine or joint injury through various methods such as self myo-fascial release, dynamic warm ups as well as mobility drills.
Powerlifting
Powerlifting is an advanced weight training discipline beneficial to all and enjoyed especially by our competitive clients and athletes. The three power lifts include the squat, bench press and deadlift. Our instructors are highly qualified to teach these lifts, having studied powerlifting personally under Louie Simmons, one of the world’s leading powerlifting coaches. Not only do our instructors teach these lifts effectively but successfully compete in the sport as well. With a keen eye for technique and form we ensure your safety while attaining the total body strength and movement efficiency the powerlifts have to offer.
Olympic Weightlifting
Olympic Weightlifting is a highly advanced weight training discipline. Performing the Olympic lifts correctly provides strength-flexibility, dynamic and explosive strength and intense conditioning enjoyed by our competitive athletes and fitness enthusiasts. Olympic lifts are a great way to get outside of a dull fitness routine and bring intensity and excitement back into your workout. The Training Studio instructors are qualified and capable to bring you to that next level safely and with maximum results. Mike Hanley and Juliet Deane both trained the Olympic Lifts at the USA Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs and earned their Sport Performance Coach Certification through the nationally accredited USA Weightlifting Program.
