What happens at Beach Bootcamp?
Fun in the sun, that’s what! Taking part in a Beach Bootcamp is a fun way to get fit, get strong, lose weight and get lean while enjoying the beautiful beaches of the jersey shore! The summer only lasts 100 days so might as well enjoy being outdoors while we can. What better way to start the weekend than with a fat burning training sessions.
Our boot camp program is structured around a unique interval training format that blasts calories. Studies show that interval training improves your fitness, burns more calories than regular cardiovascular exercise, and may even help you become a better “fat burner” during your regular cardio workouts! Interval training can be the key to blasting through a weight loss or strength plateau—and we do it in every boot camp!
We like to keep our bootcamps small (ideally 12 or fewer people) so that we can give you individualized attention. We work hard to get to know each and every individual in our camps and coach you to success. Whether you’re an exercise “newbie” or a triathlete looking for some cross training, you can get a great workout at a The Training Studio Beach Bootcamp because we scale it to your current fitness level.
We give you lots of variety by using various implements found right on the Belmar beaches. Classes will include a warm up of various joint mobility drills followed by an intense interval session which will include the beach, your bodyweight and a few training toys we will provide like kettlebells, agility ladders, med balls and jump ropes. All you have to do is show up! At the end of each bootcamp, you will have had a cardio workout, a strength workout and even an abdominal and core workout while breathing in the fresh ocean air.
Our Beach Bootcamp Class will meet from 7:30am-8:30am on saturday. The camp will meet on the Belmar Boardwalk between 8th & 9th across the street from the 7Eleven.
